Task 1: you have 10 minutes to make sure all of your work from last lesson is uploaded to your Pattern page on your website. Try to upload photos in order!
Task 2: Your main task this lesson is to learn how to combine two photographs in an edit.
1. Open a pattern that has a white background.
2. Invert the colours so that white becomes black and vice versa (image, adjustments, invert) then adjust brightness and contrast. SAVE
3. Repeat the image as usual to create a pattern by copying, pasting and CTRL+T to transform/flip/rotate. SAVE
4. Open another image in colour. This time repeat the image but leave it in colour. SAVE
5. Copy the colour pattern and paste it over the top of the black and white edit. Place it in a good position over the first pattern then BLEND this layer to the layer below, choosing the blend option that is most effective. SAVE
6. Try different variations of colour and save any that you think look good!
7. Upload all to a gallery in order. Put your favourite edit FULL SIZE underneath in a single image block.
