As it is the last lesson for the year, your aim is to get anything incomplete finished off, uploaded and annotated so that you don't have to pick up mid way through something in the new year! Make sure that everything is uploaded with a title above it eg. 'Experiment 5', 'Experiment inspired by artist' etc. Write a sentence or two below each experiment to explain the photography techniques you used, links to your artist, how you edited it and a review of the strengths and weaknesses. To take this photograph I... I have taken inspiration from... by... I edited it by... One of the things that I think work best about it is... because... Something that I need to develop in my next experiment is... because... Well done for all of your hard work this year. You have all learnt so much and made so much progress! And you have been a pleasure to teach :)
The thing to think about now is that you are entering your final year and everyone needs to up their game to work to the best of your ability in order to secure the highest possible marks! I want everyone to be aiming for a 5/6/7/8/9!! Your coursework projects (Human Figure and Light and Shadow) have to be totally finished by Christmas. This includes all improvements, extra experiments, extra photoshoots and final outcomes. You will then start your final exam project in January, and develop your project until your exam which will be the last week of April. This will be a really short amount of time so we need to get everything finished on your coursework before hand. All work has to be handed in on the first day of your exam. Why am I telling you all of this now?? Because now is the time to get ahead!! Your homework over summer is as follows: 1. An extra 2 photoshoots for Light and Shadow 2. An extra 2 photoshoots for The Human Figure 3. As many of the Going for Gold summer tasks as you can! All of this is due on the first day back after the summer.
